I have three predictions for 2023…

1. 2g cartridges will take over. When the full gram cartridge came out, vaporizer smokers across Colorado rejoiced, and a couple major vape companies out there have already started advertising the much larger, two-gram cart, so it’s only a matter of time.
2. THC-B will be the next big thing. It’s a hemp-derived cannabinoid, so it’s legal just about everywhere, and it can get you high, which is always fun. But it’s still not as good as plain ol’ THC, and you need a lab to make it, so it’ll fade in popularity just as quickly as it climbed.
3. And finally, I predict that in 2023, Simone will still be a pot nerd. She’s just awesome, plain and simple. She loves pot, she loves people who love pot, and she became a part of our family on day number one. I’m sure you’ve met her by now, but how well do you know her? I asked her a few questions so you could find out:

Q. When did you start working for The Greenery?

A. October 25^th, 2021.

Q. What’s your favorite way to enjoy marijuana?

A. I like to explore all types of consumption, although a good sativa flower topped with Hash is the best way to start the day.

Q. What’s your favorite outdoor activity?

A. A little nature walk with my kids is always so much fun.

Q. Tell us about your pet.

A. I have three awesome pets: my dachshund (Ika), a Russian blue cat (Jazz), and a Pacman frog (Wario).

Q. Which station do you stream while you’re working at The Greenery?

A. “Women of Rock,” or anything punk(ish).

Q. What’s your favorite memory from being a Budtender?

A. My favorite memories are laughing with the crew. We all have unique personalities that help us work together.

For real, anyone with a frog named Wario is rad, and Simone is no exception. She smiles while delivering the best customer imaginable, no matter what’s on her mind, and she jives with the rest of us like a long-lost sibling; that last thing she said is 100% true because her unique personality is part of the glue binding our team together.

She’s a Team Lead, meaning that she’s the boss lady when a manager isn’t present, but more than anything, she’s a pot nerd. She knows everything there is to know about the wonderful world of weed, and she’s exactly why our shop is different from all the others—a real budtender is professional and knowledgeable, thereby giving you the best experience and product possible, and Simone is the archetypical “real budtender.”
